Welcome to The Salvation Army Portland Tabernacle. Whether this is your first time visiting or you have been here before, we want you to know you are welcome here and you are loved. The teaching is relevant and the worship is passionate, in a warm and loving environment. Wherever you are in life, we have a place for you to connect with people and with God. Children
We have ministries for children of all ages on Sunday. We also have a nursery/cry room. We invite our children (ages 6-12) to join with us during the worship time and then they will be dismissed to junior church before teaching time. A nursery is also provided for infants and children up to 5 years of age
Special Needs
Our building is ADA compliant with wheel chair accessibility throughout our building, in order to accommodate those who might find it more difficult to get around.
Getting Connected
We want to connect with you! Please fill out a contact card, located at the chapel entrance, and place it in with the offering. We would love to get to know you and know how we can make you feel at home.
How Should I Dress For Church?
You will find some people dressed in Salvation Army uniform, you will find some in their "Sunday best", with suits and ties, and others in jeans and tees. We care about the heart, not what you wear!
